At SPARX, we specialize in a luxurious selection of hand-poured soy candles. Our offerings include exquisite fragrances inspired by nature, such as the RADIANT ASCENT - YUZU, GILDED REVERIE - OSMANTHUS and OPALINE VEIL - GARDENIA, designed to create a refined ambiance in any space.

Are your candles made from natural ingredients?

Yes! Our candles are crafted with organic, vegan Freedom Soy Wax and infused with carefully selected, phthalate free fragrance oils, ensuring a sophisticated and eco-friendly sensory experience.

Why do you use fragrance oils (FO) instead of essential oils (EO) in your candles?

We use premium, candle-safe, phthalate free and alcohol free fragrance oils because they provide a richer, longer-lasting scent that fills a room beautifully—something most essential oils can’t achieve in candles.

Fragrance oils are formulated specifically for candles, resulting in more consistent and powerful aroma while burning. They also allow us to share unique, rare scent combinations (like Yuzu, Osmanthus, and Chypre) that simply aren’t possible with essential oils alone. All our FOs are rigorously tested for safety, air quality, and comfort—so you can enjoy every fragrance knowing it’s non-toxic for both people and pets.

Our perfume oils are crafted to reconnect you with the natural beauty of scent. Every blend is formulated without alcohol or synthetic fillers, using organicjojoba oilas the base to nourish the skin while holding fragrance longer.

What types of perfume oils do you offer?

SPARX offers an evolving collection of essential oil–based perfumes featuring natural notes that range from fresh florals and grounding woods to warm resins and citrus blends. We primarily use pure essential oils combined with organic jojoba oil for a skin-loving, lasting formulation.

We occasionally use a touch of fragrance oil to layer or stabilize certain accords — always thoughtfully chosen to enhance the composition while keeping the formula as natural as possible.

Are your perfume oils made from natural ingredients?

Yes! Our perfumes are built around natural botanicals and essential oils sourced for their purity and therapeutic benefits. The organic jojoba base is non-comedogenic, cruelty-free, and naturally conditions the skin. Every scent is free from alcohol, parabens, phthalates, and synthetic dyes. Each bottle celebrates simplicity, nature, and craftsmanship.

Are your perfume oils safe for pets and sensitive individuals?

Our perfume oils are designed for personal use only and should be applied to human skin — never directly to pets. While we carefully choose gentle, phthalate-free essential oils known to be safer for home use, pets have much more sensitive respiratory and metabolic systems than humans.

We avoid harsh synthetics and heavy diffusing agents, but because some essential oils (like citrus, tea tree, and peppermint) can be irritating to animals, we recommend applying your perfume oil in a ventilated space and allowing it to dry before interacting closely with pets.

For sensitive individuals, our formulas are free from alcohol, parabens, and artificial dyes, using organic jojoba oil as the carrier, making them gentler on skin. However, those with fragrance sensitivities should always spot test first.

Product Care - Soy Candles

How long do your candles burn?

The burn time of our candles varies depending on the size and specific product. Generally, our hand-poured soy candles are designed to provide a long-lasting burn, allowing you to enjoy their delightful fragrances for hours on end.

How can I get the best burn from my candle?

Trim the wick to 1/4" before each burn. For the first use, allow the wax to melt across the entire surface to prevent tunneling. Avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

What should I do if my candle is tunneling or burning unevenly?

At SPARX, we choose cotton and paper wicks specifically designed and sized for each candle container, which greatly reduces the chance of tunneling when you follow proper burning practices. This means tunneling should be quite rare. 

However, if you notice your candle is burning unevenly: Let your candle burn long enough each time so the entire surface melts—this is especially important on the first burn. If tunneling has already occurred, gently scoop out excess wax around the wick and allow the candle to level out on the next burn. This helps restore an even melt pool and extends your candle’s life.

Why does my candle have a rough, bumpy top after burning?

It’s completely normal for soy candles to develop a rough or bumpy surface after burning. This happens when the melt pool cools and solidifies at an uneven rate—a natural characteristic of pure soy wax. It’s not a flaw and won’t affect the performance or scent of your candle. In fact, these unique tops are a hallmark of all-natural soy wax and a sign of our commitment to using clean, eco-friendly materials.

Can I reuse or recycle the container?

Yes! Our candles are thoughtfully poured into containers designed to be both recyclable and reusable. Simply clean out any remaining wax after use and repurpose your tin or glass—perfect for organizing, planting, or creative projects. At SPARX, we’re committed to reducing waste by using sustainable materials so you can enjoy your candle while minimizing your environmental footprint.  How do I use the wax melt gift included with my order?

Your SPARX wax melt gift is a versatile way to enjoy our signature scents!

  • Wax Melter: Place the melt in any electric or tealight wax melter—no water needed. As it melts, it will fill your space with fragrance.
  • Wick Trimming Alternative: Don’t have a wick trimmer? If your SPARX candle’s wick is getting too long after a few burns, simply place the wax melt on top of the existing wax before burning—the melt will gently blend as the candle burns, helping manage wick height while scenting your space.
  • Upcycled Candle Containers: Once your candle is finished, clean out the container and use it as a wax melt holder atop a candle warmer or tealight base.
  • Other Creative Uses: For a low-tech approach, set the wax melt in a heat-proof bowl above a mug of hot water to release subtle fragrance.

Product Care - Perfume Oils

 How should I apply my perfume oil for the best scent experience?

Apply your perfume oil to pulse points—your wrists, neck, inner elbows, and behind your ears. These are naturally warm areas that help the fragrance unfold beautifully throughout the day.

If you’re using a roller bottle, glide it gently over the skin and let the oil absorb naturally—avoid rubbing, since that breaks down scent molecules and lessens longevity.

If your bottle has a spray, hold it about 6–8 inches (15–20 cm) away from your skin for an even, delicate mist. For a light, airy diffusion, try a “mist drape”: spray upward and slowly walk through the fine cloud so the microdrops settle softly, creating a subtle, full-bodied aura without overpowering.

For longer wear, apply after a shower or on moisturized skin; fragrance binds better to hydrated surfaces, enhancing both scent strength and staying power.

How should I store my perfume oil to keep it fresh?

Keep it in acool, dry placeaway from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ideally, store it between 60–75°F in its original dark bottle. This protects the natural ingredients from oxidizing and maintains their balanced aroma profile.

Can I refill my bottle?

Yes! Our bottles are refillable— you can reuse them endlessly. We’re developing a Refill-at-Home Kit that includes a clean transfer funnel and refill pouch. If you’d prefer simplicity, we can ship a refill bottle that fits directly into your original roller or atomizer. Sustainable, easy, and beautifully circular.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your candle, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order, and we will assist you with the return process.

Can I personalize my order or select custom fragrances?
