What makes SPARX candles unique?

SPARX candles are hand-poured in small batches using clean-burning soy wax, cotton wicks, and distinctive fragrance blends inspired by rare botanicals. Each candle is individually tested for quality, performance, and scent throw.

What types of candles do you offer?

At SPARX, we specialize in a luxurious selection of hand-poured soy candles. Our offerings include exquisite fragrances inspired by nature, such as the RADIANT ASCENT - YUZU, GILDED REVERIE - OSMANTHUS and OPALINE VEIL - GARDENIA, designed to create a refined ambiance in any space.

Are your candles made from natural ingredients?

Yes! Our candles are crafted with organic, vegan Freedom Soy Wax and infused with carefully selected fragrance oils, ensuring a sophisticated and eco-friendly sensory experience.

Why do you use fragrance oils (FO) instead of essential oils (EO) in your candles?

We use premium, candle-safe fragrance oils because they provide a richer, longer-lasting scent that fills a room beautifully—something most essential oils can’t achieve in candles.

Fragrance oils are formulated specifically for candles, resulting in more consistent and powerful aroma while burning. They also allow us to share unique, rare scent combinations (like Yuzu, Osmanthus, and Chypre) that simply aren’t possible with essential oils alone. All our FOs are rigorously tested for safety, air quality, and comfort—so you can enjoy every fragrance knowing it’s non-toxic for both people and pets.

If you’re looking for the natural wellness benefits of essential oils, we’re excited to announce that we are developing organic jojoba oil-based perfume and room diffusers using EO blends for an all-natural, healthy, and luxurious experience.

Are your candles safe for pets and sensitive individuals?

Yes. Our fragrance oils are rigorously tested to be non-toxic and are chosen for clean air quality. Our candles do not contain paraffin, phthalates, or harmful additives.

How long do your candles burn?

The burn time of our candles varies depending on the size and specific product. Generally, our hand-poured soy candles are designed to provide a long-lasting burn, allowing you to enjoy their delightful fragrances for hours on end.

How can I get the best burn from my candle?

Trim the wick to 1/4" before each burn. For the first use, allow the wax to melt across the entire surface to prevent tunneling. Avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

What should I do if my candle is tunneling or burning unevenly?

At SPARX, we choose cotton and paper wicks specifically designed and sized for each candle container, which greatly reduces the chance of tunneling when you follow proper burning practices. This means tunneling should be quite rare. 

However, if you notice your candle is burning unevenly: Let your candle burn long enough each time so the entire surface melts—this is especially important on the first burn. If tunneling has already occurred, gently scoop out excess wax around the wick and allow the candle to level out on the next burn. This helps restore an even melt pool and extends your candle’s life.

Why does my candle have a rough, bumpy top after burning?

It’s completely normal for soy candles to develop a rough or bumpy surface after burning. This happens when the melt pool cools and solidifies at an uneven rate—a natural characteristic of pure soy wax. It’s not a flaw and won’t affect the performance or scent of your candle. In fact, these unique tops are a hallmark of all-natural soy wax and a sign of our commitment to using clean, eco-friendly materials.

Can I reuse or recycle the container?

Yes! Our candles are thoughtfully poured into containers designed to be both recyclable and reusable. Simply clean out any remaining wax after use and repurpose your tin or glass—perfect for organizing, planting, or creative projects. At SPARX, we’re committed to reducing waste by using sustainable materials so you can enjoy your candle while minimizing your environmental footprint. This dedication to reusability and recycling is a key part of what sets SPARX apart.

 How do I use the wax melt gift included with my order?

Your SPARX wax melt gift is a versatile way to enjoy our signature scents!

  • Wax Melter: Place the melt in any electric or tealight wax melter—no water needed. As it melts, it will fill your space with fragrance.
  • Wick Trimming Alternative: Don’t have a wick trimmer? If your SPARX candle’s wick is getting too long after a few burns, simply place the wax melt on top of the existing wax before burning—the melt will gently blend as the candle burns, helping manage wick height while scenting your space.
  • Upcycled Candle Containers: Once your candle is finished, clean out the container and use it as a wax melt holder atop a candle warmer or tealight base.
  • Other Creative Uses: For a low-tech approach, set the wax melt in a heat-proof bowl above a mug of hot water to release subtle fragrance.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your candle, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order, and we will assist you with the return process.

Can I personalize my order or select custom fragrances?

Absolutely! For our Duet Set and Signature Trio bundles, you may choose the same or different scents for each candle. Mix and match your variety by selecting the scents you want. If you have special requests, feel free to reach out—we love helping you create your ideal set!
